Vienna State Opera

The Vienna State Opera was one of the first buildings on the famous Ringstraße, built between 1861 and 1869 in neo-romantic style. During World War II, it was partly destroyed and reconstructed between 1948 and 1955. The State Opera offers room for 2276 spectators and it's stage is one of the largest in Europe.

Wiener Konzerthaus

The Wiener Konzerthaus was built in 1913 and has been a place for classical music till the end of World War I. After that, the program has widened to other performances, like modern dance. Next to the Musikverein and the State Opera it is one of the most famous places for music in Vienna.
